This video features a professor of art history, who takes us to skin color representation in prehistoric times, when cave art was a form of expression. Professor Mukherji, the former dean of the School of Arts and Aesthetics at Jawaharlal Nehru University, has long been interested in colorism in Indian art history. Her inquiry includes representation of skin colors in prehistoric times, as well as Vedic times, when texts about skin color became available.
